Located in a small hamlet the cottage is a haven of peace and tranquility, set in 1 acre of lovely gardens with fish pond. 1.5 miles from the ancient market town of Combourg with its enchanting Chateau. The bustling market town offers a fine selection of restaurants, shops, and supermarkets, swimming pool and cinema are all within easy walking distance from the High St. The medieval walled city of St Malo, Cancal, Mt St Michel, Rennes and the lovely Dinan, with its boat trips are all just a short drive away [25min], as are the sandy beaches of St Lunaire, St Briac with their beautiful cliff walks and beach side cafes.

La petite maison Bleu is situated in a small hamlet in the heart of rural Brittany, between St Malo and Rennes. 4 miles north at the tiny village of La Madeleine the Ille et Rance passes through a magnificent staircase of 11 locks where you can enjoy lovely tow path walks ideal spot for picnics. Letang de Bulet which offers a sailing club numerous water sports, small sandy beach and cafe, is a short drive 5 miles, it is also a birdwatchers paradise. Dol de Bretagne with its cobbled streets and 13th century cathedral are 7 miles and well worth the visit.

La Petite Maison Bleue has been operating for the last 4 years and has been highly recommended. The cottage has its own grounds to the rear which is exclusively for our guests with garden furniture and gazebo, and this year we are offering cycle hire. As the owners, we live adjacent to the cottage and are here if you need us. N.B. Please check that you do not need a visa to enter France this normally only applies to people from out side E.U.

Heating: The cottage has a log burner and oak logs can be supplied by us for 8 euros a day if wanted, we also can offer you a gas heater for chilly mornings 5 euros a day.
