Sagone situated 19 miles from Ajaccio, 6 from Cargèse on the west coast of Corsica, one of the most picturesque with the Calanches of Piana, the Scandola nature reserve and the gulf of Porto,classed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. The region offers much to the tourist with several coves and fine sandy beaches on the doorstep of the property. A small fishing port is half a mile away and you also have free use of a mooring and a small dinghy. A boat can also be hired for a day or more at a special price. Fishing trips are also a possibility.If you like walking, the region opens up on one of the most beautiful mountain ranges of the island.The forest of Aitone and its natural pools are very close by, with many opportunities for family walks or sporting activities, Creno lakes, Ninu lakes, Girolata etc..
