This secluded house is an ideal haven for a relaxing holiday with as little or as much sightseeing as you wish. In a privileged residential area, the house commands breathtaking views view of the point where the river Tagus meets the Atlantic ocean, offers secure, luxurious accommodation on one level within large private grounds. A spacious living room opens up onto a private terrace ideal for sunbathing or 'al fresco' meals. We have another 3 bedroom unit in the same grounds; please email for more details.

Location: Oeiras area in Portugal

Above the sea front linking Lisbon and Cascais, the property is easily accessed by road and public transport. The airport is 18km. Lisbon city centre is 12km, easily reached in 15 minutes by car or by train along the river Tagus. The small railway station is less than a 5 minute walk, with trains to Lisbon and Cascais, a sophisticated sea side resort. Public transport is convenient and reliable so guests can opt for a car free holiday. The charming old centre of Paço de Arcos is 10 minutes walk, and offers numerous restaurants in a beautiful setting. Local shops are 5 minutes away and the Oeiras Marina is nearby. A futuristic suspended train (SATU) joins Paço de Arcos to a shopping centre for the serious shopper. Access to Lisbon, Cascais and Sintra is easy and quick, making this the ideal base to explore the Lisbon area. The lovely beach of Paço de Arcos is 20 minutes walking distance. Further afield, many more beautiful beaches are easily reached, such as Estoril, Cascais and Guincho
