The Casa das Estevas is a very quiet, recently built villa in a 1000 m² plot in the Natural Park Reserve Costa Vicentina. The sea shore is only 2 km away. Located in Vale da Telha, Aljezur (Algarve province, Portugal), not far from the Monchique Sierra. The quiet villa is perfect for families - a maximum of 8 or 9 people can sleep in it. The villa has two suites - each of it with a double bed and its own bathroom-- a lot of privacy for two couples. There are two more bedrooms with twin beds and three bathrooms. All rooms are equipped with a wardrobe. In the kitchen are oven, stove, refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. The living and dinning room has TV, furniture and fireplace. Outside are a shaded balcony and a garden where the meals may be taken. Masonry outside bake oven and barbecue are available. The villa owns a central heating system for the winter.

Vale da Telha is a village with very quite surroundings. The air is pure, full of sea breeze - very good for people with respiratory problems. The sea shore is only two kilometers away with beautiful uncrowded beaches and breathtaking nature landscapes. Seven kilometers away is the picturesque village Aljezur with a castle, restaurants, banks, shops and an old fashioned food market. Lagos, an international city with lively night life, is 30 km away.

In two bathrooms with front entry showers is a step to get the shower necessary, because there are no grab rails in the bathrooms. Inside the house or outside balcony and garden are no steps. Beaches: Amoreira & Monte Clerigo - these two beaches lie next to each other, separated by rocks. There are facilities for visitors. The coast is punctuated by fascinating rock formations, ending at Ponta da Atalaia, which means Lookout Point. Arrifana - a long stretch of sand sheltered by cliffs with a picturesque fishing port. Arrifana is linked to the historical figure of the Moorish prince and poet Ibn Caci (12th century) who lived here as a recluse. There are ruins of an old fort (17th century) built to defend the tuna fishermen and their gear. At the end of the cliffs Pedra da Agulha (literally Needle Rock) rises majestically from the sea. Penedo, Vale Figueiras & Canal - beaches of great beauty that see few visitors. Bordeira & Amado - long beaches in Bordeira stand the ruins of a former defensive fort built to repel pirate attacks (17th century). Near to Amado the so-called Pedra do Cavaleiro (Knight's Rock) stands amid the waves.

Surfing: The perfectly formed waves that break off Aljezur's beaches are among the best in Europe and ideal for surfers and body boarders alike. Arrifana Beach whic is only 5 minutes away of the house by car, is a known international spot for surfing.

Fishing: The whole coast of Aljezur municipality is a paradise for sports anglers who dream of receiving the big fish. The waters here are teemed with sea bass, dory, conger eels, snook, sea bream and many other species of fish, all waiting to provide subject matter for tall tales, told at nightfall, among friends, over a glass or two of local wine. Baia dos Tiros, Samouqueira, Esteveira, Vale dos Homens, Carriagem, Pipa, Fonte Santa, Atalaia, Canal, Vale Figueiras, Bordeira, Pontal and Amado are among the most famous fishing grounds.
