Villa Alessandra is situated in a beautiful residential area. The apartment is located on the ground floor of the villa. It is about 70 sqm and has got a large paved and furnished garden (60 sqm) where you can dine and have a quiet shaded rest. There is a wide living-room, two bedrooms, 1 bathroom and a large fully equipped kitchen with dining area. The house is situated 4 km far from Anzio (downtown). In the neighborhood there are 4 restaurants (just 1 minute walk) one of which is directly just 1 step from the beach; 1 bar/fast food; 1 local supermarket (about 1 km from the house, 10 minutes walk); 1 shop selling miscellaneous (about 300 meters from the house). The apartment is 1 minute walk to the beach. The nearest train station is about 1 km from the house, 10 minutes walk. Just 50 minutes by train and you are straight in the very centre of Rome (Termini Train Station). Enjoy even a trip to the picturesque Island of Ponza in just 80 minutes by ferry.

Anzio is a town on the sea. It is 57 Km from the centre of Rome and few minutes by car to lots of historical towns. Founded by an old Italic population, conquered by the Romans in 338 b. C. and flourished in the XVII century thanks to the building of a big harbour, it is a very animated seaside resort, where you can mix culture and fun. Enjoy culture by visiting the Roman and Greek ruins, and have a great fun in the downtown disco-pubs and discos. Try nature excursions in the WWF protected reserves.

We appreciated our stay and we would recommend this property to our friends specifying that in the mean time the owner has added a washing machine that was of a great help, that otherwise the apartment is well furnished and especially the furnished towels, linen...were new.
The family was very kind but unfortunately speaks mainly italian, except for the doughter.She manages very well in german and english.
We do not think that the appartment is well suited for disabled persons as there are steps to use. Families with children might very much appreciate the short distance to the sea.They should take care of the traffic on the via Ardeatina (50 for most Italians seems to be an indication that 100 is also accepted).
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Sightseeing, Families with Young Children
