This pretty non estate villa is totally detached on a 1000 metre plot. With an east facing patio for breakfast and dining a west facing terrace for the afternoon and the pool patio in the sun all day you can enjoy sun or shade as you please. The villa is newly refurbished, tiled throughout and well equipped. A spacious sitting room with dining area three bedrooms one containing a double bed the other two with two single beds each. A babies cot is also available. A 4th bedroom is available as a self contained flat.The villa has very attractive views over the pretty gardens and within walking distance of child safe coves; Spanish, Dutch or Chinese restaurants; a supermarket that sells everything and provides a taxi service or a hire car on a daily basis; and a local train that goes along the coast from Alicante to Denia. The village of Coveta Fuma is very green and lush, very Spanish and very relaxed. That said the delights of Alicante and Benidorm: Golf & Theme parks are close by

Coveta Fuma is a Spanish coastal village situated approximately a 20 minute drive from Alicante Airport. The area is green and lush and rather rustic but with all the facilities that make for a relaxing holiday. Child friendly coves, restaurants, supermarket & a local train service are a short walk away. A 20 minute walk will take you to the nearest town of El Campello with banks, weekly market, good shopping area & wonderful promenade and beach. Or take the train along its coastal routes and visit other areas such as Denia, Calpe, Benidorm, Villajoyosa (fantastic beach and weekly market), The theme park of Terra Mitaca, the dolfinarium Mundimar, and water world Aqualandia are in Benidorm for those who want a little adventure. For the golfers there are a number of championship courses nearby the nearest being Bon Alba a ten minute drive away; & the sophisticated city of Alicante for those who enjoy the bright lights. As for Coveta Fuma quiet, safe, lovely walks & very laid back.

Additional information about rental rates

  • We require a non refundable deposit of 20% with each booking with the non refundable balance to follow six weeks prior to arrival. We also advise that officially, entry to the villa is 16.00 hours on the day of arrival with departure at 10.00 hours to facilitate the change over cleaning, however if all cleaning is completed then access is immediate. If you have an early arrival or late departure time, do contact us. Also let me know if you require a high chair or cot. In the case of late bookings, less than one month - full payment (non refundable) will be required. Transfers to and from the airport available.
  • The above rates will operate through to October 2010
    We also charge a £200 breakage deposit due with the balance six weeks before departure and returnable after our agents inspects the villa.

Great holiday.

We holidayed in this villa with our four children in August 2009.The villa was extremely well equipped,clean and well maintained.We were met at the airport by a local taxi service arranged by the owners and a welcome pack of groceries was also arranged for us which was really helpful as we arrived late at night.
We were met at the villa by an agent who was very helpful,telling us everything we needed to know.
The villa at Coveta Fuma is a few hundred yards from a well stocked small supermarket.The prices here were not a lot different to the bigger supermarkets in el Campello.Coveta Fuma is a lovely little place with a handful of bars and restauraunts all located in a square with a play area for children opposite the restaurants.We ate in the chinese restauraunt which was very good food,but a bit pricey with the poor exchange rate.The local cove is very picturesque.
The tram station is opposite the supermarket giving a reliable ,cheap hourly service to all areas along the coast.This made getting around very easy and the teenagers were able to go off exploring by themselves. El Campello was the nearest big town with a good choice of shops and places to eat.During our stay we visited a water park at Benidorm which was easily reached on public transport,Alicante and lots of smaller places.The market at El Campello,close to the tram station, on a Wednesday was great.We stocked up on fresh fruit ,salad and veg and used a wheeled shopper which we bought at the market to bring it home on the tram.
The pool was absolutely great,we spent the majority of our time in it as the temperature was around 32 degrees when we were there.It was cleaned whilst we were there,so we were unable to use it one day.
All in all this was a very relaxing and enjoyable holiday.We will definitely consider going again.The owners couldn't have been more helpful and there was loads of information provided in the villa about places to eat and to visit.This is an ideal holiday if you don't wish to hire a car as it is very easy to get around from.It may not be suitable for toddlers or people with disabilities as there are steep steps around the outside areas.

As mentioned by the review before me the new swimming pool is great. You could sit in the sun pretty much from 8.30am to 6.30pm by simply adjusting the direction of your sunbed. You could stay out even later if you're really dedicated and were prepared to move round the pool a bit too.

The facilities provided outdoors are probably the best i've had in over 10 villas with the gazebo with its cane 3 piece and coffee table, a 3 seater swing chair and 3 sets of tables and chairs each with sun brolly. You could be in the sun or shade whenever you liked.

The villa had all essentials and the second bathroom will make it even better (why does everyone want the bathroom at the same time!).

The nearby train (or Tram as they call it) was just a short walk opposite the supermarket and enables you to travel without a car (handy for going into Alicante).

Down in the village i'd highly recommend the Plaza restaurant which does a menu 7-9pm for 11.95 euro and that's 4 courses. Some dishes have a 3 euro surcharge, if you like lamb trust me the extra euros are well worth it.

Lots of other restaurants are within a short drive and El Campello has loads along the beach and in the town. My second recommendation is the Sicilian opposite the dirt car park at the start of the beach. (drive to El Campello by the coast road and you'll pass the tower located at the far end of the marina, as you go along the road you can park by the side of the road. As this parking stops you'll see a dirt car park where the locals park and on the opposite side of the road is a few restaurants. The 3 course meal with a drink was either 12.95 or 13.95 euro and very good quality and service.

Would have no problems in recommending, you'll find the villa owners and their agent in Spain very helpful too.

Great family getaway

Me and my family have just returned from this villa, the new swimming pool which was gated was fantastic and safe for my three granchildren, the gazebo was a great place to chill out and relax and we could watch the children while they where in the pool. The villa had everything we needed for our holiday. The nearby train station was great to go exploring and very cheap so there was no need for car hire,there was also pubs and restaurants within walking distance all located in a square which also had a park for the kids to play. I look foward to booking again.

We have just returned from this villa we found it had every thing you needed

It was very clean the villa was every bit as good as the pictures showed. We will be going back again in August and taking family with us.

It is a quiet place so very relaxing but you can get a tram which can take you in to plently of attractions.

There are some very good restaurants and bars just down the road about 10 minutes walk

Antonio the cab driver is very good.

I have recomended this villa to family and friends.

We stayed in the villa in July ( 4 adults, 2 teens and a baby) we had a great time, the nearby supermarket was really handy as was the train station taking you to Alicante or Benidorm in about 1 hr, we went to Benidorm for the day.There is a couple of restaurants nearby and we had 2 great meals in 2 of them, there is also a nightclub(which is empty) but had good music. The villa itself had everything we needed including travelcot and highchair (which were spotless) the sun terrace is very hot all day long and the barbecue area was good enough to feed all 6 of us! Supermarket in El Campello has everything you could need as its quite big, the transport which was recommended was Antonio's taxis and he came and picked us up in a 6 seater whenever we needed him. We never hire a car so this villa is perfect for us, and I would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet relaxing holiday, or if the nightlife is what your looking for then you would have to get the train to El Campello -10 mins, the taxi home is about £10. We will definately return, looking forward to the bigger pool and extra bathroom/bedroom !!! Thanks !!
