Mas d'Aiglun is of modern Provencal construction situated in a quiet rural location within walking distance of the delightful village of Eygalières. Light and airy rooms and French windows lead to south-facing stone terraces, swimming pool and one acre (10,000 m2) rangy garden. Its cosy log fire, underground central heating and fully-equipped kitchen all set for the preparation of sumptious meals makes it an excellent self-catering holiday choice for all seasons. You will need a car to get here. Space for two cars in a covered shelter and more space outside. If you can tear yourself away from the villa, superb hiking, wine-tasting, golf and other sporting and cultural activities are on hand close by. St. Remy de Provence and the cities of Avignon and Arles are a short drive away with music festivals and bull-fighting in the summer months, as are the colourful Provencal markets and antique shops in nearby villages all year round.

Directions: A7 to Cavaillon, direction St. Remy. At 4th roundabout turn left to Eygalieres. At the main square, go past the post office and continue straight for about 200 m to cross-roads, dustbins on right. Go straight on, up chemin d'Aureille. Bear right at 3-way fork, continue straight on. After about 50 m. at Mas Calabrun the road becomes a track. You'll see some telegraph poles after approx 100 m. Follow the line for another 100 m till the blue gate on right. Cleaning: services on demand. The villa will be cleaned professionally before and after your stay. Turnaround day: Saturday morning departures by 10 a.m., Saturday arrivals after 2 p.m. This allows for thorough cleaning to maximise your enjoyment. Electricity: usage over and above 200 kwh per week will be charged at 0,16 euros per kwh. Gardner and pool maintenance will come once a week, usually on Friday mornings. The Eygalières market is on Fridays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Notes: The garden terraces are perfect for outdoor living in summer with stone table and benches under a vine-hung pergola, movable barbecue and related equipment. Sunbeds and mattresses cater for eight and a hammock swings gently under the shady pines, ready for afternoon siestas. Every bedroom is south-facing onto the Alpilles, garden and flower-decked terraces. Only one other house can be seen beyond the garden. Bedroom linen, bath and bathing and tea towels are available (50 euros reduction in rental price if you bring your own). Wifi available for your internet needs (bring own laptop). Landline phone is available for incoming and emergency calls only. Good mobile phone network. Cot on request. Smoking permitted. No disturbances. Sorry, no pets.
