How about a vacation in the Dordogne and Lot regions of France? A large (2-11 person) vacation home is available year-round with its 9x5m private pool, traditional yet comfortable country furniture, fitted kitchen. Our vacation home offers full privacy and has been recently renovated. It is nested in the Dordogne valley, in its own private park. It benefits from high-quality amenities, true Dordogne authenticity, as well as from an unobstructed view on the valley and surrounding countryside. La Varenne is a spacious home with character, renovated in 2005, comprising a stone house of typical Périgourdin style dating back from the eighteenth century, and an extension built in the 1950s. The house is located at the end of a charming Périgord village. It is independent and offers full privacy. It is surrounded by a beautiful 3500m2 park ornamented with adult trees and including the pool. Access to the house and car park is via a locked gate reserved for house guests.

Nearest Motorway: MUSSIDAN at 30 Kilometres
Nearest Airport: BERGERAC at 18 Kilometres
Nearest Train: COUZES ST FRONT at 3 Kilometres
The property is situated in the Dordogne valley, a few hundred metres from the Dordogne river itself. The beautiful Lanquais château and lake, and the Couze st front old paper mills are only two kilometers away. May we recommend the Sunday morning market in the medieval town of Issigeac. The reknowned Bergerac and Monbazillac vineyards are not very far either. Wines, foie gras and other Sud-Ouest delicacies are directly available from local producers. Nearby leisure and sports activities include: horse riding, microlight planes, tennis, bike rentals, hiking, boating and swimming on several lakes. The Dordogne valley is a very touristic area, but even in summer you will find plenty of secluded, green spots, plenty of little villages and châteaux to discover off the beaten path.
