Your charming gite-chalet: an ancient barn of the XIX century, self catered, refurbished on stone and beamed ceiling. Located at the end of a small road in a meadow of 8500m2, mountain silence and security for children are assured. On a 1150m-altitude plateau, discover a very protected and grandiose nature with a 360° breathtaking view! South facing with 3 bedrooms, a big convivial room kitchen-living room with woodwind stove, heated floor, rustic and elegant decoration with some unusual pieces... and all the comforts of a charming gite-chalet. Here is the comment of one of our guests: We are leaving today, with regret, an ideal place where we would love to live. The calm, the mountain beauty, and the silence make us more humble. We will certainly come back to this excellent gite, where we felt like home from the beginning. Hiking made us discover a wonderful area with a protected environment. ?Kind Regards"

Your chalet-gite is located in the commune of La Roche des Arnauds, 10 km away from Gap on the road to Veynes-le Dévoluy. Its location is privileged: you are on a plateau at an altitude of 1150m, great for walking, hiking and astronomical observations. The environment is sumptuous: on the North, the Dévoluy massif with the Pic de Bure -2700m- and its scientific station of radio astronomy. In the underground of the massif, "chourums? cavities (some of which are made of ice) the deepest of is at 980m: kingdom of small and big potholers! 20km away, the golf of Gap-Bayard. On the South 13km away, the Ceüse mountain -2000m- with its ski resort and its famous cliffs for climbing. 30km away, the Tallard aerodrome with its air sports. On the East, the Charance Mountain -2000m- with its flora of endemic plants, its paragliding departures...30km away, the Serre-Ponçon Lake with its water sports. At your arrival, a security deposit cheque of 60 Euros (refundable according to the cleanliness of the gite-chalet at your departure), will be required as well as the payment of the balance. If you wish, a final household service is offered to you for 60 Euros. During school holidays, check-in is from 17:00pm on Saturday. Checkout, until 10:00am on your leaving Saturday. Out of school-holidays period, we do according to your availabilities and ours. For your comfort and the quality of our welcoming, at your arrival, the gite will be already cleaned, checked-out and prepared. Finally, for family reunions, between friends or for a seminary... know that you can have the possibility to use not only the gite but also, our charming guest bedrooms, with a total capacity of 12 people.   • All year long, the price for a week is 550 Euros, except for: July and August, 650 Euros per week. We favour 2-week stays or more. Christmas-New Year: 600 Euros per week, 1100 Euros - 2 weeks. In February : 650 Euros per week, 1200 Euros - 2 weeks. Out of school-holidays period, you have the possibility to stay as long as you want upon request : for 2 nights, 260 Euros, for 3 nights, 320 Euros, for 4 nights, 380 Euros, for 5 nights, 440 Euros, for 6 nights, 500 Euros, for 1 week, 550 Euros, for 2 weeks, 1000 Euros. Additional charge: in winter, heating system on the floor: meter-reading. Tourist tax: 0.50 Euros per day and per person. Services offered to you: sheets are provided and beds are made. Wood for the glass stove. Internet connexion. For the booking, a 25 percent-deposit of the whole rental amount is required. We accept holiday vouchers, but not payment by credit card.

  • Next to the "parents" bedrooms you will find a big shower room with 2 washbasins, a large shower space with a glass opaque wall, a space to put a changing-nappy mattress for example, a washing machine and a big velux which lights up a marine style decoration.

  • including - 1 Baby Crib, 1 Double Bed, 4 Single Beds
  • In your gite-chalet, you have three bedrooms. A "parents" bedroom at street level, with a 160cm sculpted wooden bed of "Queyras" style, with a big cupboard-wardrobe, original beamed ceiling and a decoration in blue pastel colours...On the floor, 2 bedrooms under transparent framework with wooden floor. A staircase made in "le Clos de Lumière" out of larch logs leads there. One of the bedrooms is south facing with a small balcony and view of the Ceüse massif. The other one, is north facing with view of the Dévoluy massif and the Pic de Bure Mountain. There are two single beds in each room with the possibility to have an extra bed or cot.
