This luxurious cottage is situated on one-half acres, a sublime retreat after a long journey. The cottage provides accommodation for 2 persons and has a large charming sitting-room with fireplace with oriental rugs on teak floors, A spacious bedroom with elegant linens (twin beds or super king sized bed), a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom with shower. The bedroom has a magnificent view of the lake. Enjoy total privacey.

Connemara is a place to relax, where one can take a break from the busy world, and feast one's eyes on the surrounding landscape of unspoiled natural beauty. This is the fabled holiday resort of famous writers to name a few: Oscar Wilde, W.B. Yeats, Lady Augusta Gregory, Bernard Shaw and John Synge. For those eager for energetic pursuits, horse-riding and pony-trekking are available. Also, fishing is possible in the nearby lakes and rivers. Or golf in one of two l8-hole championship golf courses. Excellent restaurants are located nearby. Amelia, the owner, is a cosmopolitan jem: she has lived in La Jolla, California and Italy, is privileged to be a Joyce from Joyce country and her knowledge alone is worth the trip - all the secrets of her beloved Connemara.
