Two apartments in St Oswald (1300 m) in the same chalet which contrast with Heinke's Pad on the Palm (48124) . The ski lift (also open for much of the summer ) is 500+ m away. The apartments are ideal for skiing and the winter sports opportunities of the Bad Kleinkirchheim valley - 20+ lifts, 90 km of runs and so much more including 2 Spa Baths . For the rest of the year - mountain walks or biking, summer flowers, golf, tennis, lakes & spas touring all make for relaxation and enjoyment. The Garden Wohnung (sleeps 2 but 5 max.) 1 bed/familyroom (with a bunk bed in the dressing area), sauna, lounge/kitchen/diner with open fire and sofa bed The Family Flat -(sleeps 7) 3 beds., large lounge/dining/ room with kitchen . Views over the valley and 'our' waterfall. The apartments can be rented separately or together. Ideal for families and friends. Ryanair and Tuifly fly to Klagenfurt . 65 square metres - This is our cosy and romantic apartment - the bedroom has an an ensuite shower room and a dressing area in which we also have a bunk bed. The lounge/ kitchen / dining area has a splendid double sofa bed in front of an open fire. We limit guests to a maximum of 5 . The Flat is ideal for a couple or a family. The sauna can take up to 7 (we make an additional charge for this) and has a separate shower.There is a separate W.C. The Garden Wohnung can be rented with the Family flat above and together they are ideal for parties of up to 12.. Outside is a garden (with table tennis under the balcony tin the summer) and access to the communal streamside BBQ area near the waterfall .

Bad Kleinkirchheim is in the valley below the village of St. Oswald. The whole area is beautiful with mountains rivers and lakes. To us St Oswald is the place to relax but both in summer and winter you can have the most active of holidays. Italy is just an hour away so give yourself the time to tour around but you may prefer to sit and watch 'our' waterfall. Hiking, golf, mountain biking spa baths and other attractions - the list goes on and on This is a place to explore and enjoy with cake shops, restaurants and a reputation for hospitality. The skiing is extensive and somehow there don't seem to be long queues for the lifts.

  • There is a local tax payable to the town we will give you the figures when quoting but reckon on 2 - 3 euros per adult per day. Heating and electricity are included as is bed linen and towels.We do not provide swimming towels. Internet may be available on request but it is supposed to be a holiday.

Notes: With 2 apartments we have a range of 'extras' a cot, games, a set of slazenger golf clubs in good condition and so on. Please ask. Internet can be available but we have to make arrangements. We do not like the implication of the expression 'elderly' but the property is on a slope. A person either elderly or otherwise who has difficulty with stairs may not be able to take advantage of everything either the flats, garden or area have to offer but there is no harm in trying. No smoking in the flats..

St Oswald: St Oswald is a village 6- 7 km up a well maintained tarmac road from the spa town of Bad Kleinkirchheim (BKK)which boasts 90 km + of ski runs, 2 thermal baths and a host of other attractions and facilities . You can ski, snowboard, hike,(for 100s of miles) bike, play golf, tour the Alps and lakes and above all relax. Italy and Slovenia are only an hour away. St Oswald has the Nationapark Brunnachbahn gondola lift which is open during the ski season and much of the summer. This connects with (and is part of the BKK ski area) .St Oswald has a ski school, ski hire and a clutch of restaurants. A car is recommended but the Ski bus which runs throughout the valley also serves the Village. We do not have a shop but there are plenty of shops in BKK . Those seeking a different nightclub everynight may be disappointed .
