You have sun & shadow all day, spectacular sea view in front, silence all over and stars all night. It has 3 bedrooms each with bathroom. Whales right in front of the villa, great white shark diving. The Cherry lies in a quiet village near Hermanus. The villa is ultramodern, very exclusive and 100% privacy. You have a private pool, all comforts: modern kitchen with many appliances, TV, Hi-Fi, DVD, Mac&PC, ADSL, floor heating, cleaning lady twice a week. It is an ideal spot to relax, read or write a book and rethink your life and love. Restriction: house and surrounding are not suitable for children under 15.

The villa is located in a cul-de-sac, on the cliff next to Walkerbay Nature Reserve, on the edge of De Kelders, near Gansbaai, the world's best spot to watch the whales and the great white sharks. Hermanus is a half hour drive and Cape Town International airport is one hour more. The most southern point of Africa is 100 minutes in opposite direction.

Great white shark excursions: In the ('big 2') village of Gansbaai, several tour operators offer boat excursions for whale watching and cage diving excursions to the Great White Shark. This location is the best spot on earth to see and touch these impressive creatures.

Whales in Walkerbay: Whales with their babies can be seen daily directly in front of the villa during the 'whale season', from June until January. All year long you can enjoy the rich aqua fauna, hundreds of bird species, thousands of fynbos species, ancient Khoisan caves, etc. All these impressive natural delights are to be discovered directly around the villa. A 2-p kayak is available in the villa for strolling along the coastline.

Wines: In this Walker Bay area you can visit a dozen excellent wine farms, such as Hamilton Russell , Bouchard Finlayson, Newton Johnson. Also a scenic day tour through the mountains brings you to famous wine regions around Franschhoek and Stellenbosch.

Golf: In Gansbaai (10 min) is a 18 hole course (no pro, no waiting lists). In Caledon (30 min) is an 18-hole course and a spa / hot springs / casino. In Hermanus (30 min) is a 18 holes course Near Hermanus (45 min) is the famous Arabella Country Estate, with spa and golf club, 18 holes. In Villa The Cherry 2 golf sets are available for guests.
