If you want quietness, calmness and relaxation, Kamala Regent at Kamala Beach is the place to be. With it?s stunning beaches, lovely tropical hinterland and excellent tourist infrastructure Phuket is 'The Pearl of the Andaman. Kamala beach is one of the largest and more popular beaches of Phuket. The beach is clean and pretty. It occupies a broad sweeping two mile crescent on the west coast, with hills either end. Located north of the infamous Patong beach, Kamala is a quiet Muslim community. Accommodation is mainly in small guesthouses and the nightlife at Kamala is relatively quiet and low key. Kamala has a pleasant villagey feel contrasting with the commercialism of Patong and Karon. Patong is only about 10 minutes away though for those who prefer some action.
