Photos and Description of this Central Carinthia holiday chateau / country house 5 double bedrooms, 8 x 12 m pool, 20 m attic/sittingroom, breaktaking views

The Keusshof is a beautiful 17th century (possibly older) Farmhouse situated in the rural village of Ottmanach overlooking the Karawanken mountains. The House is renovated to a high standard and sleeps 12. The House has a fully equipped kitchen/dining room, no 2 double bedrooms plus 3 further bedrooms and three bathrooms. There is a huge living room (see photo) with magnificant views and a balcony. The House has excellent laundry facilities plus a boot/coat room. In addition the Kuesshof has a 8 x 12 metre infinity swimming pool with a state of the art filtering system (2005) and a dining terrace (poolside) to entertain 12 people. The Kuesshof sits near the bottom of the Magdelensberg, which in turn houses the famous celtic ruins and a wonderful Gasthof with lovely walks and taboganning in winter. Ottmanach is in the vicity of a number of lakes, including the Worthersee and is 20 minutes from Klagenfurt (city and airport) and one hour from skiing in Kelinkircheim and Turrach Resorts.

Kuesshof is situated in a small village 500 meters above sea level. Water comes from springs. The House as mentioned is on the lower levels of the Magdelensberg so there are fantastic walks-biking up to the top of the mountain. 1.5 hours to walk and enjoy fabulous local food, bier and schnaps when you reach the top.

Swimming: In Summer June, July and August-beautiful lakes Worthesee 20 minutes-good for water skiing, sailing etc

Creativity: Kuess Hof-wonderful mountain air is perfect atmosphere for writing, reading, painting with wonderful temperatures from May to middle of September from 20c to 30c in July and August.

Ski: Within 60 minutes drive their is excellent skiing at Klein Kirchheim including fantastic outdoor swim in spa pool/sauna-perfect day for Family-further skiing at Turrach plus other resorts.

Golf: Very good quality golf courses within 20 minutes drive.

Other Activities: good skiing 60 mins, toboganing in winter if conditions permit 15 mins
