Located near Perigueux (30 mn), Hautefort and Montignac (The cave of Lascaux and castles), Gabillou is an authentic village of the black Perigord, completely in stones. Only 10 minutes are necessary to get to Thenon where the tradionnal market takes place every tuesday morning, and which is near from the Cave of Tourtouarac. This region offers a fabulous number of historical monuments and out of the ordinary places of interest. Perigord is also famous for its gastronomy. Many walking routes start in the area of Gabillou, it offers the walker a beautiful environment in which to walk, surrounded by the beautiful countryside of the region. For your relaxation, you will enjoy the garden, where the fruit trees make some sweet shadow, its flowers, or the swimming pool with its large sundeck, ideal for sunbathing and taking a break. The swimming pool can also be accessed by the couple renting the chalet we have in the 3 ha property, and by us. We hope you will enjoy this very quiet place.
