Alcudia area holiday apartment

We have just returned from a weeks stay at this apartment and we were generally happy with the facilities although there were a few issues. The apartment is a good size on 3 floors,is tastefully furnished and there are air conditioning units in both bedrooms worked by remote control,but not however in the living area as per the photograph! The owner did lend us a fan to help with the heat in the living area and also replaced the toaster which was broken.The property was very clean and well maintained and overlooked a very nice pool at the rear and the main road running through Alcudia at the front, this was where the balcony was located and was a bit noisy but bearable.We were given the wrong address of the property at first but a call to the helpful Xisca who looked after the property solved the problem quickly.Thank goodness for mobiles!
The main complaints we had were that the electricity would spasmodically cut out and this was obviously an overload of the circuit causing this and needs looking into urgently, also the hot water heater was inadequuate for the apartment,there was never enough hot water for the three of us to shower successfully every evening.
That being said when these problems are sorted out it is a very nice apartment at the quieter end of Port Acudia within 10 minutes of the busier area with lots of decent resturants and just 5 minutes from a truly fantastic beach.
We did not bother with a car and used the cheap and frequent buses to go to the old town etc,the bus stop is right outside the apartment block and a good size Euroski supermarket is 15 minute walk away.
