In the low season is a perfect spot to enjoy the sea, the views and the wildlife of Elba.

Boat ride: The boats leave Piombino harbour every hour in mid season, every half an hour in high season. It is better to arrive and leave on a week day because on Saturdays and Sundays the price of the boat nearly doubles. The ride from Piombino to Portoferraio and Rio Marina takes 1 hour. In July and August it is better to book the ticket in advance. There are 2 boat companies that do the service: Toremar and Moby. Toremar tickets are slightly cheaper, but it is more difficult to book in advance.
