This pink washed, single storied dwelling is set in pretty gardens and is decorated and furnished to a really high standard. Comfortable and warm, it is suitable for any time of the year. It is within easy reach of many beautiful beaches and is in a rural location (in the hills between Ballydehob and Bantry Bay). It looks down over Roaring Water Bay and is a great place to explore from - Kerry and other west Cork destinations are day trips. There is a lot to do and great places to eat.

Notes: There is a heat exchange system in the cottage which changes (and filters the air of pollens) the air every two hours. It also heats the incoming air with heat circulation pump (this is not situated inside the cottage). The decorations and furnishings are of a very high standard and there are antique paintings and furniture. All upholstery is new. There are lovely gardens and a wild flower orchard.

We just loved our stay at Beth's beautiful cottage. It is full of books and lovely paintings and very carefully chosen furniture. The children (11+12) had loads of great facilities to play with in a most creative way. We wished we could have stayed longer and would travel back immediately. We felt so much at home.

Especially if you are looking for a remote and quiet place that is well situated for discovering West Cork, this is THE place to be.

Liebevoll restauriertes und im englisch/irischen Landhausstil eingerichtetes Cottage. Vermieterin wohnt nebenan und kümmert sich rührend um das Wohl ihrer Gäste! Sehr ruhige Lage in einer Entfernung von ca. 3km zur N71 und ca. 6 km zur nächsten Ortschaft (Ballydehob)mit kleinen Geschäften und gemütlichen Pubs. Größere Orte in der Nähe mit besseren Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind Skibbereen (30min.) und Bantry (15min.). Ideale Lage zur Erkundung der wunderschönen Landschaften West-Cork's und Kerry's. Sehr zu empfehlen!!! FIVE STARS!!!
