Our country lodge is an charming ancient farm with a lovely garden, renovated with great care and situated in one of the nicest place in Morvan (altitude: 390 metres). The house is located in the rolling foothills of the Jurassic range, in the very middle of a rich tourist area: the hills of Haut-Folin (at 900 metres), at the foot of Mont-Beuvray, Bibracte with its museum of ancient Celtic civilization, the canyon of the Canche, lake Settons (360 hectares) and lake Pannecière (520 hectares), the thermal waters of Saint-Honoré-les-Bains, and then too Anost with its book fair, festival of the hurdy-gurdy (yes...) and even a crayfish fair! But above all our lodge provide, in a framework of personal freedom, a sense of peace and happiness!

The Morvan region is pleasant and beautiful all year round: 285,000 hectares of park land, far from all industry or pollution! So many activities are available of course in addition to hiking (the park offers 3,400 km of hiking trails, the main trail being only 200 metres from the lodge), a long list including: horse-back riding, mountain biking, rafting and kayaking on our many streams, swimming, boating, water-skiing, as well as cultural sites such as churches, cathedrals, castles, museums, to say nothing of fine country restaurants (naturally!). Because of its ideal location you will find our lodges a perfect starting point for daily explorations into the great sites of Burgundy culture and history, to say nothing of its renowned cuisine. You will discover, all within a radius of no more than 100 km, the artistic and architectural marvels of Saulieu, Beaune and its wine road, Chalon-sur-Saône, Vézelay, Avallon, Nevers, Tournus, Cluny?

  • ? On the first floor, after a small corridor is situated a bathroom with toilet and a tumble-dryer, then a room with a double bed and a shower. Another door looks onto a large 40 s-m bedroom, with a double bed and two single beds and folding screens. This room has two velux and two windows offering a very beautiful sight on hills and surrounding forests.

  • We offer accomodations for 8 persons over 130 square meters in a pleasant living space including three bedrooms (3 double beds, 2 single beds, 1 baby bed), two bathrooms, a shower, two toilets. ? The first floor includes on 70 m2 a party lounge with dining room, including beamed ceiling and a big fireplace, onto which looks a kitchen fitted out with washing machine and dishwasher. A oak table allows eight dinner guests to feast. The lounge includes two sofas and an armchair which, in front of a coffee table, allow to spend pleasant evenings (satellite TV reception, DVD reader, movies). We also find on this level a big furnished room about 20 m2 with beamed ceiling, a double bed + a baby bed, as well as a bathroom with toilet.
