Immersed in the traditional Tuscan countryside, the tourist farm “Fattoria La Prugnola” with its apartments and cottages offers a quiet and relaxing holiday amidst woods and olive groves, with a breathtaking view of the sea and the Tuscan archipelago. Situated along the “wine road” of the “Costa degli Etruschi”, the farm is about 10 km from the sea, within easy reach of the famous beaches of this coastline, and it is an excellent point of departure for interesting sightseeing tours of historical Tuscany (Arezzo, Siena, Firenze, Lucca, Volterra, Pisa, San Giminiano etc). In the farm there is a private parking. Near the Fattoria La Prugnola there is a typical restaurant with a Tuscan menu which serves Montescudaio DOC wine, and our Extra Vergin Olive Oil. There is also a little camping, in case you have some friends want to visit you with a tent.

This little cottage is composed of a double bedroom and a room with 2 single beds with possible additional bed, bathroom and living room with day-bed and kitchenette with all the necessary (pots, dishes etc.). From the windows and the balcony, with outside table and chairs, you get a breathtaking view that ranges from the valley to the sea. It has also a wood stove for spring and autumn. In the farm there is a private parking. On the farm house “Fattoria la Prugnola” you’ll enjoy all the pleasures of nature and the top comfort of staying in a house that has been recently restored in perfect tuscan style. In this oasis of peace your children will be able to run about freely, discovering plants and animals they have often only seen in television, and while they get to know and love nature you’ll be able to relax, watching the sunset and tasting a good glass of wine. From Montescudaio one can easily reach all the main tourist resorts of Tuscany, including the wonderful Elba isle, from which the famous “Strada del Vino – Costa degli Etruschi” begins.

Unser Urlaub im I Girasoli auf der Fattoria La Prugnola war einer der erholsamsten bisher. Mitten in Oliven- und Weinbergen, am Fuße der Stadt Montescudaio gelegen und mit einem traumhaften Ausblick. Dieses Jahr fahren wir direkt wieder hin. In Montescudaio gibt es tolle Lokale von hoher Qualität. Marina, die Chefin, ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Der Agriturismo ist sehr schön, man kann draussen in der Trattoria essen (natürlich auch drin) und bekommt zu essen, was heute auf der Tagestafel steht. Keine Auswahl aber ein fester Preis, letztes Jahr EUR 22,-, für ein 5 Gänge Menü inkl. Wein und Absacker. Das mitten in der Natur mit vielen Tieren wie Gänsen, Pferde, Hühner, Katzen.... Alles fussläufig zu erreichen.
