Typical example of a medieval Tuscan castle, dating back to the 12th century, erected by the architect Buondelmonti as a fortress to defend from feudal possession. Transformed into a country villa in 1520, with large decorated rooms and elegant loggias, the castle stands perched above a hill that dominates over the steep jagged hills of a green valley, in a panoramic position, in the heart of the Chianti Classico. Beautiful broad view of the hills. Peaceful position despite the fact that at the bottom of the valley passes the connection road between Florence and Siena. Exclusive equipped fenced-in lawn (400 m2) with a hexagon-shaped swimming pool (6x11, 3.5 m deep) (30/4-8/10).
