This pretty house is situated on the South facing banks of the Rio Alva in the beautiful countryside of Central Portugal. The house is well equipped for all your self catering needs with a large kitchen and dining area with large refectory table. The kitchen leads out to the garden and patio where there is a BBQ and wooden dining furniture. The large living room has a wood burning stove for the cooler months and has satellite TV, music centre, books and games and sofas for 6 people. There is a balcony from the living room with uninterrupted views across the river out to the mountains beyond with seats and table.

Coja is an ancient roman town and has a small market on Saturday mornings through the summer. There are restaurants, shops, bank, butcher, bakers, cafes, Post Office and chemist in town and a pretty river beach where you can swim in the crystal clear waters of the Rio Alva. Coja is approx. 10kms from the main district town of Arganil and approx. 45kms from the old university city of Coimbra.

The house is normally available from Saturday to Saturday but this may be changed at the owners discretion. The house may be enterd after 4pm and should be vacated before 10am. During the summer period the house is available for a mimimum of 7 nights and for the rest of the year it is available for a minimum of 3 nights.
