Location: Vercoiran in France
The attractions around are Nyons capital of AOC olive oil and olive paste has a very popular thursday country market attracting people from all around; Vaison la Romaine with its roman amphitheatre where dance performence are planned in the summer, its museum and antique city ruins well preserved is of great interest; many wine villages : Gigondas, Sablet, Séguret, Vinsobres for the wine taster and lovers of small charming villages. The castle of Grignan where Madame de Sévigné visited her daughter and where plays are being given is not far.
Hikes are plentyfull around and well marked and hang gliders can be seen every week end if the wind is right.
Lavender fields, vineyards and wheat fields provide a colourful everchanging scenary which is best at the end of the summer and beginning of fall.
The village of Poet Sigillat, just above on top of the hill has been well preserved : its chapel always open to the visitors is a beauty of peaceful simplicity in its new interior design.
