The Casale dei Tigli is an old farmhouse immersed in the nature of the splendid hills of Lucca. It offers to the visitors holidays of peace, privacy and relax. Its positions in the countryside and 4 km close to the city gives it a wonderful situation. The flat, named ? La casa del Colono? is in old rural house next to the historic Villa. The restoration have been realised with care and in the respect of the tradition, to highlight the old materials: terracotta pavements, stoned walls and ceilings with beans and to keep the typical atmosphere. Six hectares of woods and fields surround the XVI century property. Very easy to reach, at only 8 minutes from the center of the city.

Lucca is idealistically situated to visit the main centre: To the seaside 25 km. Florence 75 km. Pisa 21 km. Siena à 100 km. San Giminiano 72 km. Volterra 68 km. Montecatini 25 km. Carrara 50km. Pietra Santa 32 km. Six hectares of woods and fields surround the XVI century property. There is a public swimming pool 2 km away in the hills, easily reachable by bicycle. One place to ride horses 1,8 km away. A nice TENNIS court 1,3 km away. Well educated animals are welcomed. Lake for fishing: 1 km Nearly:Two grocers shops and 2 café : 1,5 km Pharmacy: 1 km (chemist) Pizza: 1.7 km. Lake for fishing: 1 km Town centre (downtown): 4 km We will enjoy to give any information about anything we can do and visit in the area, addresses of trattorias and restaurants with typical Tuscan cooking.
