Marina di castagneto :

How to get here :
Situated on the Tuscan coast in central Italy, the Costa degli Etruschi is easily reached by car, train or plane (Pisa airport is only 15 km from Livorno and only 60 Km from the Villa) half time of car. The ports of Livorno and Piombino provide connections with the archipelago, Sardinia, Sicily and Corsica. The Costa degli Etruschi is also a popular cruise destination, with ships from the world's principal shipping lines calling at Livorno and Piombino.You can visit the famouse cities of art which are close enough for half day excursions. Firenze, Pisa, Volterra, San Gimignano, Siena, Massa Marittima, Perugia, Assisi. Elba, 45 km distant is easily reached by car (and ferry from Piombino). Thanks to a network of well maintained country roads there are many possibilities for cycling and mountain biking.
The area offers superb beaches for sunbathing and clear, clean sea for swimming, sailing, windsurfing and scuba diving. There are scuba diving schools at Baratti and San Vincenzo.
