Photos and Description of this Utelle holiday cottage

If you like sea or mountain, the 3 Flats of the "Moulin des Lucioles" welcome you for short (2 nights) ou long stays; with your family or with a group of friends (max 15 p. : contact the owner). The mill is located near Nice (30 min. of the Côte d'azur) and near the mountain (parc of Mercantour) in the valley of vesubie under the nice village of Utelle. The 3 flats are very well equiped (shower, WC, Kitchen, sitting room and 2 or 3 separated bedrooms, a big garden, a private car park....) which allow you to be completely independent. There are several attractive possibilities for the children : marineland, course in trees... Around, you can practice hill-walking, canyoning, via ferrata, visit the "côte d'azur", villages around, Italy or stay relax in the spacious and well equiped garden with a brook. To summarize : confortable holidays between mountain and sea for a reasonable budget.

Nearest Airport: Nice Côte d'Azur at 35 Kilometres
It is easy to come to the mill. From the A8 motorway, take the direction of Nice and quit the motorway (exit N°52 : St Isidore) then, the N202 direction of "Plan du Var". At the end of the village of "Plan du Var", turn right in the "valley of Vesubie" direction of St Martin vesubie. The mill and its big private car park will be on your left, before the village of St Jean la riviere which is located under the village of Utelle. You can also arrive from Dignes.

Usually, the stay is from Saturday (18h p.m. max) till Saturday (10h a.m. max). If it is not possible for you, please contact us. It is asked to leave the gite as clean as it was at you arrival. If you do not want to do the cleaning, it is possible to pay for it. There are no sheets, towels.... in the gite but you can pay for it also.

  • The fire flies mill is an authentic olive oil mill which was re-organized in 3 flats 7 years ago. There are 2 flats (50m2) with 2 separated bedrooms for 45 pers. each and the third (70m2) has 3 bedrooms and is for 68 pers. Then you can come from 2 till 15 pers. In each flat, there is one bedroom with one bed for 2 pers. and one sofa. In the other bedrooms there are 2 single beds. All the bedrooms are cleaned, luminus with pillows and blankets....
