Pretty villetta with swimming pool in a quiet location surrounded by wooded parkland terraces (2000 sqm) with pines, eucalyptus, olives, douglases and mimosa trees. The villa is located on a sunny hillside with a spectacular view of the Liguria hills and the Mediterranean sea. 15 minutes from the sandy beaches of Lavagna (6 km) and Sestri Levante and within easy reach of Cinque Terre, Santa Margherita, Rapallo and Portofino. The historic town of Chiavari is about 10 minutes by car and Genoa is 45 km away. The house has two storeys and is about 90 sqm. On the ground floor there is a living room connected to a sitting room, a compact kitchen, and the cloak room. On the first floor there are two bedrooms, a bathroom and a terrace. Downstairs the living room leads to a loggia equipped for outdoor dining. From here steps lead to the pool. In the park garden furniture, table tennis, hamacs, barbecue. The villa is totally independent and gives you maximum privacy.

Die Lage des Hauses ist einmalig ruhig, Naturverbundene werden ihre helle Freude haben. Im Fokus des Blicks ist nicht unbedingt das Meer, gleichwohl man es sehen kann, sondern eher das Tal, das mit seinen hunderten von Olivenbaumterassen um einen herum liegt. Wunderschön... Anfahrt wirklich abenteuerlich, nach einer Woche allerdings schon Gewohnheitssache. Wir waren ausserhalb der Saison Gäste und haben es absolut genossen nicht mit Touristenmassen unterwegs sein zu müssen. Wir hatten 3 Tage Regenwetter und heftigen Sturm und es spricht sehr für das Haus und seine Einrichtung, dass wir uns trotzdem ganz urlauberlich und entspannt gefühlt haben. Tolles Grundstück für Kids mit Abenteuergeist, viele Ecken zu entdecken. Ganz kleine Kinder und Ältere werden die Treppen und Terrassen vielleicht nicht günstig finden und müssen sich dann auf das Haus und die dort anschliessenden Terrassen (ja, Plural!) beschränken. Viel Platz für alle. Pool haben wir nicht mehr genutzt, war uns bereits zu kühl so Ende Oktober, aber er war total sauber und liegt idyllisch auf einer eigenen Pool-Terrasse. Zur anderen Hausseite fängt "der Wald"an, der zum Grundstück gehört ... Pinien und Piepmätze und Schatten und Hängematte. Al freso Küche gibts auch. Der Vermieter war freundlich und entgegenkommend und wir haben uns wohl aufgenommen gefühlt.
Zum Meer fährt man ein paar Minuten, aber wir fanden, dass weder Chiavari noch Lavagna spektakuläre Stadtschönheiten sind. Nett halt. Besonders nett, wenn oktoberleer. Schöne Strände für lange Spaziergänge. Phantastische Natur allerdings ganz nah: Küstenklippen in Portofino oder Cinque Terre im Autoradius von ca. 1 Std.; mittelgebirgischer Wald und einsame Wege direkt hinter dem nächsten Kamm. Wir waren alles in allem ziemlich begeistert und als es wegen der Herbststürme kalt wurde und die Gasetagenheizung problemfrei eingeschaltet werden konnte, waren auch die Tage, die wir im Haus verbingen mussten, super. Kann mich meinem Vorredner nur anschließen. Tolle Lage und sehr schönes Grundstück!
Toilette und Wanne waren bei uns dicht.
Wichtig, es sind Kaffeefilter mitzunehmen, da man diese in diesem Teil Italien wohl nicht bekommt (zumindest haben wir keine finden können)
Die Zufahrt hat ca 100 Höhenmeter Unterschied und ist wirklich sehr schmal und abenteuerlich.
Der Verkehr in dieser Region ist sowieso recht hektisch (Rollerfahrer an jeder Ecke :-))
Die absolute Ruhe findet man dann trotz abgeschiedener Wohnlage auch nicht. (dafür kann der Vermieter aber nichts)
Die Kirchturmuhr läutet jede Stunde 3 mal recht laut. Hunde bellen öfters, es wird auch Sonntags mit Gartengeräten gearbeitet, das scheint dort normal zu sein...

Die Buchung war kinderleicht, die Vermieter zu jeder Zeit erreichbar und auskunftsbereit (auch im Vorfeld). Die Anreise mit dem Auto von Köln aus, war etwas länger als gedacht (15 Stunden), der Rückweg, wegen langem Stau am Gotthard sogar noch drei Stunden länger.
Von einem der sehr netten Vermieter wurden wir sehr locker und unbeschwert in das Haus eingewiesen. Das Haus liegt wirklich schön am Hang, ist nur über einen etwas abenteuerlichen Schotterweg zu erreichen und man wohnt dort wirklich sehr abgeschieden, was unseren Wünschen entsprach. Toilette und Bad verloren beim Duschen etwas Wasser, was ich persönlich nicht als schlimm empfand, da ansonsten alles in einem ordentlichen Zustand war. Die Möbel waren zweckmäßig, aber wir hielten uns eh fast nur draußen auf, da das Klima auch September noch lange Abende auf der Terasse zuläßt. Der Pool war toll und wurde wöchentlich gereinigt. Überhaupt ist die direkte Hausumgebung wunderschön, überall ums Haus herum sind Sitzgelegenheiten und so viel Spaß hatte ich beim Grillen schon lange nicht mehr.
Der Weg nach Chiavari ist wirklich nicht weit, wenn man erstmal aufgehört hat sich zu verfahren. Nach Sestri Levante ist es auch nicht sehr weit.
Die Strände in der Umgebung sind sauber und gepflegt und es waren während meines Aufenthaltes nur wenig andere Touristen in der Gegend (von der Cinque Terre mal abgesehn).
Dementsprechend wurde man von den Ansässigen auch mit Herzlichkeit und Freundlichkeit behandelt. Die Menschen dort in Tigullien haben wir alle als überaus kinderfreundlich bzw kinderbegeistert erlebt.
Alles in allem kann ich dieses Ferienhaus nur weiterempfehlen und bedanke mich auch auf diesem weg noch mal bei den Vermietern für den schönen Urlaub.
