SILENCE - PEACE - NO TRAFFIC - COSY HOME The natural and cultural heritage of the region is preserved on the estate of Selva dei Colli where the old farm house named Ciarloca is located. It is surrounded by olive trees, wine yards, and a hilly landscape. From the windows you can see both the close Adriatic Sea to the east and the Gran Sasso Mountains to the west. We have restored this old house, taking care of the surrounding nature and the local tradition. We are eager to welcome guests who are looking for freedom, peace and silence. We have done our best to avoid the 'dormitory style' and furnished our apartments to be cosy and roomy homes to stay in when the weather is rainy and dull.

Are you looking for a place where you can both relax and study or do something creative? Then take your chance! This apartment is situated on the second floor and has an all around view of the astonishing landscape from mountain to see. You can admire the fields and the cultivated hills, typical for the Teramo region. It is furnished with a sober homey touch, enabling a practical and easy life. Harmonious colours and discreet contemporary paintings make the atmosphere for a creative holiday in this quiet, soothing land farm. In the large living room, there is a separate working corner with a nice desk in front of the window with a view on the quiet hilly landscape. There is a kitchen desk with a gas stove set, a big electrical oven, a fridge and a small freezer. There is a TV and a couch that can be used as a bed for occasional guests. On the porch upstairs, you can eat your dinner or have your tea.

The house of Ciarloca is situated in the Abruzzi region in central Italy and is easily reachable by the Autostrada A14 if you are coming from the north and with the Autostrada A24 if you are coming from Rome. This part of the peninsula is the undiscovered paradise of Italy, called the region of the 4 natural parks. High mountains and unspoiled nature with varied wildlife, long sandy beaches along the warm and kind Adriatic cost, lots of medieval churches, historical sites, and small towns clinging to the slopes. You can ski or walk on Mount Gran Sasso in the morning, and stroll along the beach in the evening of the same day. But the region offers also bigger cities with excellent shopping opportunities. The region of Teramo is famous for its hospitality and good restaurants.

The room has kept the original intimacy of a country house, with the classical wooden beams in the roof. The large bedroom has a large double bed, and the smaller bedroom has 2 singles, all Scandinavian size. One extra bed or a baby bed can be put at your disposal.
