Casa Calma is a spacious 2 bedroom self catering apartment in the upmarket La Residencia development in Costa Calma. Its exclusive position overlooks the swimming pool and its garden and terrace provide the perfect setting for a glass of champagne under the stars, a lazy breakfast on the patio, or a safe place for the children to play! Home from home mod-cons: washing machine, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, satellite TV, DVD, CD player etc. Sleeps 4/6 (double bed, twin beds, sofa bed) Bath and shower. The apartment is 1-minute walk from the Fuerte Action shopping complex, which has a fantastic 'Neighbours-style' coffee bar where much of the local business takes place, a handy supermarket, and an array of shops selling both useful and luxury items. Walk for five minutes and you reach paradise - a 21km white sandy beach, where you can just feel your troubles melt away as you listen to the gentle lapping of the waves! Book, go, relax, enjoy!

Casa Calma is located in Costa Calma in the south of Fuerteventura. It is close to all amenities, restaurants, bars, shops and, of course, the beach (only 5 minutes walk). There is a diving centre and a windsurfing school in Costa Calma; Oasis Park is 8 minutes drive - Oasis Park is a zoo and children's entertainment centre, and camel rides are available several times a day. Morro Jable is only 10 minutes drive and the airport is 40 minutes drive (a return transfer costs 90 euros). You don't need a car, but exploring the mountains can make a fun day out if you have one - there's a lovely goats farm at Betancuria, which children love.

We have just returned from 2 awesome weeks at Casa Calma! The apartment is fantasticaly positioned close to beaches and good restaurants. The little tapas place at the top of the hill was a favourite.

The morning and evening swim in the virtually private (we always seemed to be the only ones using it) pool over the road was spot on. We have a 14 month old little boy and the apartment and patio were ideal for him.

This was the first time we had been to Fuerte but we loved it - thanks Midge!
Owner's Response: Chris and his family were great guests! Casa Calma is a wonderful location for families or couples. There are superb amenities very close by - the Copa restaurant is our favourite. And don't miss out on paella on a Sunday at Aldiana beach - it is the best meal you'll ever have for 8 euros!

The pool is a lovely facility and the apartment is in the best location at La Residencia for its use (about 10 metres away and you have a good view from the garden). Great beaches and mountains, sunshine pretty much guaranteed - what more can you ask for?

Just got back from staying at this apartment. Great apartment in a fantastic location for easy access to great restaurants, bars, and beaches. You can watch your kids from the apartment when they swim in the pool which is situated just over the road. You only need to drive for 30 minutes south to find some great secluded beaches which are excellent for snorkelling, fishing and walking along the beach to other coves- when the tide is out!

Great place to stay

I would like to say how much we enjoyed staying at Casa Isobela. The villa was clean and comfortable and we had all the facilities we needed to make our stay enjoyable. The weather was also good that week and we made the most of the sunshine by spending most days on the beach. The restaurants in the area served some brilliant meals, and we would not hesitate to recommend the place to friends and colleagues, and we may visit again in the future.
Owner's Response: Karen and her partner are very nice people. Glad they had a great time and I do hope they will visit again. The beach is a great temptation, but don't forget to explore other areas too. The mountains are a beautiful contrast if you hire a car, or just like walking. The walk from Costa Calma to La Pared is beautiful through the sand dunes for example - and makes the Bahia La Pared restaurant even more enjoyable!!
