This self-catering getaway home is located on the cool west coast of South Africa, about 12km North of the City of Cape Town, V&A Waterfront & Table mountain. Ideal for family holidays, it's located 2km from the nearest beach and 5km from Ratanga Junction Theme park. It is perfectly situated for both sightseeing and leisure activities. Cape Town itself is dubbed 'The Gateway to Africa'. A day trip could involve visiting a game reserve where you can encounter the big 5; (Lion, Leopard, Elephant Buffalo, Rhino) or; drive to False Bay to come face to face with a Great White in a cage dive. If you’re into something slightly less heart stopping, you could take; a drive along the Cape Peninsula, past Hout Bay, Cape Point and Simonstown; or, a boat trip to Robben Island; or, a leisurely tour through the Cape winelands starting in Malmesbury, 20km north of the house. If you prefer, you could just relax and go to the beach. The Blue Peter Hotel is renowned for sunset cocktails on the beach.
