The park:
There are more than 35 different species of trees, you can only enjoy the park: sitting on the benches, watching birds ,wild deers coming to drink in the pond. In the pond carps, peaks are huge and healthy. In each season, you admire the colours of the woods, the bird's songs and just be quiet.
From the estate you walk in the Foret de Saint Gobain with managed loops around the village.
Activities:
Close from Laon with more than 80 classified monuments, you can spend time to visit the town, walk around the walls and admire the magnificient Gothic cathedral.
A lot of good restaurants in the town or in the country are available.
Reims with the WW2 Redition Room, and capital from the Champagne area, the famous cellars are within 40kms drive by A26 motorway.
The 'Chemin des Dames' WW1 battlefield is close from the estate (10kms). In the museum 'la Caverne du Dragon' you see what very bad times our grand fathers have had during this WW1.
A wonderful 27 holes golf course is at 15kms: in the woods or along water hazards, it's always challenging.
A new Center Parks is open at Lac d'Ailette: there are numerous activities for kids and young ones. Daily access is easy and not too expansive .
Not far from Paris or Euro Disney by car or train.

Golf:
The beautiful golf de l'Ailette is 18kms far. It's a 18 holes course par 72 and very well maintained through woods but with water hazards on the return loop. All holes are different and to score you must be accurate et long!!!
Special arrangements at l'Ailette Golf Club can be made and I offer 1 free green fee for 3 weekly purchased green fees.
Reims and Chateau Thierry Golf Club are 60kms far and easy to play on.
