The Lookout at Taluswood is together with its neighbor, The Heights, one of Whistlers most exclusive locations, and certainly the most desirable on Whistler Mountain. Perched high above the valley where the snow line stays longer in the season than any other Whistler location, it not only offers supreme ski-in/ ski-out capabilities but also truly spectacular views over the Dave Murray Downhill, site of the Men's Downhill in the 2010 Olympics, as well as the Creekside gondola. The ski-in and ski-out trails also link directly to the Dave Murray.
This townhome has a supremely spacious and luxurious feel. Hardwood floors, high ceilings, expansive windows, oversized river rock fireplace, spacious bedrooms with luxurious bathrooms with large tubs and separate showers. It is truly a privilege to stay in this home.
Entry is on the main living and entertainment floor. The living area features wrap-around windows, hardwood floors, an oversized fireplace whilst the separate dining area has a large wooden dining table next to the bar and the fully-equipped gourmet kitchen. The finest materials are used throughout: hardwood, slate, granite, stainless steel etc. This floor also contains a powder room.
Downstairs are two bedrooms, one with a king or two twin beds (we will set this up for the needs of your party) and one with a queen size bed. There is also a spacious bathroom with tub and separate shower, a fully-equipped laundry as well as access to the private 6-person hot tub with its magnificent views over the Whistler Valley.
Upstairs, the master bedroom occupies the whole third floor and includes a luxurious ensuite bathroom with large custom shower and extra-spacious tub. Further up is an additional master bedroom with a king or two twin beds and ensuite fully-equipped bathroom (again with large tub and spacious separate shower). If you are looking for the ultimate Whistler retreat, this is the place.
Large parties (12-16 people) often take this property together with #13 The Heights, just a one-minute walk away.
