The villa is set in a luxury gated complex with on site security. There are two inviting swimming pools to keep you cool throughout your stay, the main pool being just behind the villa. There is also an amphitheatre set in lovely gardens with olive trees, shrubs and climbing plants. Take a stroll through the gardens and spot the tortoises and squirrels in their natural environment and enjoy the fragrance from the beautiful flowers. The private garden benefits from both sun and shade throughout the day. The lounge leads out to a terrace with seating for al fresco dining where you can watch the sunset over the Greek islands. A large balcony leads out from the master bedroom overlooking the sea where you can relax on the large floor cushions or sit and have an evening drink before strolling down to the village to have one of the best seafood dining experiences right on the edge of the water in a romantic setting.

The villa is located on the outskirts of Gumusluk, which is a traditional fishing village on the Bodrum peninsula, approx 19km from the hussle and bussle of Bodrum where you can swim with dolphins, haggle in the shops, take a boat trip or have a nice meal in any one of the numerous restaurants. You can easily explore the villages along the peninsula by local bus (dolmus). The resort of Turgretreis with lovely sandy beach is 10 minutes drive away. Here you can take a ferry to the Greek Island of Kos which is 4 sea miles away. Bodrum airport is 50 minutes drive. Gumusluk is renowned for its spectacular sunsets, and people come from all over to sample the numerous fish restaurants along the sea.

Lovely Villa

We had a great 2 week holiday here in August 2009, and would highly recommend the villa to others.
The villa itself was very clean, bright and spacious, with beautiful sea views.....and the sunsets were breathtaking!
The development on which the villa is located is beautifully maintained, with lovely planting and two excellent swimming pools. It's a very quiet and peaceful place to have a totally relaxing holiday. The arrangements for key collection, and directions to the villa, were very straightforward and hassle free.
The village of Gumusluk is delightful - it's totally unspoiled and very pretty, and there is a wide range of restaurants. There are very good supermarkets to be found in Turgetreis, Yalikavak and Ortakent - all of which are within 10 - 20 mins drive from the villa.
We visited Ephesus for the day - well worth the visit, although we recommend you leave early: it's a good 2.5 - 3hour drive, and gets hot and busy after 9am!!
Although it would be possible to have a good holiday here without a car, we were glad to have hired one - it made exploring the lovely area much easier - not to mention being able to stock up at the supermarkets!
All in all, this is a highly recommended holiday - in our experience, the Turks are some of the friendliest, most hospitable people, their food is delicious, and the scenery and sunshine are perfect! We'll be back!
