Lovely rustic alpine chalet dating from 1911, at 1400m, in unspoiled French alpage. Perfect for a peaceful summer holiday or ski in ski out during the winter. Our beautiful, spacious chalet with a wealth of wooden beams, has a triple aspect living/dining room with traditional log fire. Recent kitchen. Sleeps up to 9 in 3 bedrooms; additional sitting area on top floor. 1 shower room & toilet;1 shared mini wet room/toilet. Large south facing balcony. S/C 3 bed apt at ground floor makes it ideal for larger groups (altogether could sleep up to 16 people). Hallway with 2 rooms with bunks, leading to living room, kitchenette, wood burning stove. Inner hall with double room plus shower room and toilet. Sofa bed. Accessed by private road - chains or 4X4. Ski school and lifts within easy walking distance and visible from our chalet, Part of the new Espace Diamant area links 5 trad stations, using 84 lifts, and 146 pistes covering 185 km. Budget flights to Geneva.

Ground floor(3 bed apartment sleeping 6 ideally) of ski in, ski out, chalet. South facing, superb views. Chains or 4X4 needed. French family station,in Espace Diamant area of rural Val d'Arly (Savoie). (5 trad stations, 84 lifts,154 pistes, 185 kms.) Exceptional snow record, excellent at all levels. Pistes with views of Mt Blanc, through spruce woods. This is a family home, not a rental chalet. We need to cover some of our expenses with 2 grown up 'children' in f/t education! No smoking or pets. Possible to rent together with upper two floors of chalet for larger group - altogether could sleep up to 16 people). Entrance hallway with with sliding door to inner hallway. 2 rooms with bunks, leading to living room (sofa bed) with wood burning stove; kitchenette with microwave, fridge and cooker, Inner hall with double room plus shower room and toilet.

French family resort so lift passes cheaper than many resorts. Very peaceful at night. Notre Dame de Bellecombe is a picturesque village in the Savoie of France, 15 mins drive from Megeve. Situated above Flumet in the rural Val d'Arly, between Megeve and Albertville. Magnificent undisturbed views. Beside piste. Our home - which we need to rent a few weeks of the year to help out with 2 adult 'children' in f/t education. Geneva - Cointrin: (70km).
