Villa des Cyprés is a beautiful, new detached Villa at the end of a long private road with private swimming pool standing in wooded grounds of 3000m2. In a rural setting, but not isolated and with uninterrupted south-facing views of pine and oak forests to the Massif des Maures, Villa des Cyprés is a perfect place to relax and enjoy all that Provence has to offer. The 160m2 accommodation is arranged over 2 floors with a mezzanine entrance hall; on the ground floor is a large lounge and separate kitchen with utility room, and a double bedroom with en-suite shower, jacuzzi bath and toilet and separate dressing room. All downstairs rooms are south-facing and have French windows onto the terracing and 10x5m private swimming pool. Upstairs there are 2 south-facing double bedrooms (1 with balcony), a bathroom with individual shower and bath. There is also a separate toilet.

Villa des Cyprés is situated in the hills just 4km outside Entrecasteaux in “Provence Verte” where the emphasis is on relaxation, sunshine, wine and food. Entrecasteaux is a typical small provencal village of 850 inhabitants with a couple of restaurants and bars, newsagent, butcher, boulangerie, wine co-operative and general store. The village is classified as an historical monument and is dominated by its Chateau, but amazingly, also boasts a cricket pitch and team who play regularly during the summer. Entrecasteaux is only 10 mins drive from Cotignac, with its selection of restaurants and bars shaded by plane trees in the Cours Gambeta. The larger town of Lorgues with its Michelin-starred restaurant (amongst others) is 15 mins drive in the other direction. The beach at St Aygulf is 45mins drive, whilst St Tropez is about 1hr away. Many other villages are close by including Carces, Salernes (famous for its tiles) and Toutour with its amazing view towards the coast.

Notes: All the rooms are decorated to a very high standard and have old Oak beams and terracotta floor tiling which, although the house is new, gives a very warm and traditional feel to the place. The main living area is large (approx 40m2) and open plan with a lounge and eating area. Music speakers can be connected to your MP3 player through a mini-jack. Access to the shaded terrace is through large doors which slide into the wall so they do not intrude into the living area. The kitchen is fully equipped with American Fridge-freezer and ice-maker and there is a kitchen table which will seat 6 people. Outside the kitchen the terrace is shaded by a 'tonnelle' and next to an Olive tree, with Teak Dining Table seating 8, 6 teak chairs, 2 teak steamers and four sun-loungers.

Villa des Cyprés: Villa des Cyprés is situated at the end of a private road and was finished in 2007. All the building works are to an extremely high standard. Outside on the upper terrace there is a landscaped garden with with Italian Cypresses and Olive trees and many different herbs and plants including lavender, sage, rosemary, box hedge, lillies and clematis. Around the the other outdoor areas of the house there are many other herbs and plants.

Golf: There are 2 beautiful golf courses within 35 minutes drive of the Villa. Both courses are set in rolling Provencal countryside with beautiful views and lined with pine and oak trees. Golf de Barbaroux near Cabasse and Brignoles is the more generous course with fairways designed to bring your ball into play, but there are several water holes and it is the more hilly. A buggy is recommended. St Endriol is a shorter course but there is no room for error. Both courses have websites for additional information and contact details.
