Courthouse Farm is situated on the edge of the village of Whitchurch Canonicorum, in the peaceful and picturesque Marshwood Vale within an area of outstanding natural beauty. The cottage is half of a Chalet Bungalow with one bedroom on the ground floor and 2 bedrooms upstairs, a sofa bed in the lounge and sleeps 7 people comfortably. Fully double glazed windows and doors. The large garden , is mainly lawn with mature trees; watch the sheep and calves over the garden fence in spring and summer and in the farm buildings in winter. A 15x8' double glazed conservatory leads from the Lounge to the garden. Parking spaces beside the house and entrance gate. In the garden there are garden chairs, a small table and barbecue.

Westbay, Burton Bradstock and Charmouth on the coast or visit Beaminster, Sherborne or Shaftesbury inland for that extra special day out. 4 miles to Devon or Somerset, so lots to do and see here in West Dorset.   • Duvet covers, sheets and pillow cases are available to hire at £6.00 per person per stay, all beds will be made prior to arrival. Towels, 1 bath and 1 hand are available to hire at £5.00 per person per stay. A travel cot is available but guests are asked to bring their own cot bedding.
  • There are also electric heaters and an immersion heater for hot water.
    Mains water supply.
    Two smoke alarms, a fire blanket and extinguisher provided.
    An oil-fired boiler for full central/water heating is installed.
  • Well behaved dogs are welcome at £12.00 per week, but must not be left in the house whilst guests are out by day or night. VB Inspection 3 Star March 2009

Wander to the 20 acre woods or beside the River Char and watch any wildlife. I will be pleased to show you around and answer any questions; as we also grow wheat, barley, forage maize and sometimes linseed and oats. The farms are inspected annually by ABM/FABBL Beef & Lamb Scheme and National Dairy Farm Assurance Scheme for milk production. Contact us for prices and availability.

Directions to Courthouse Cottage On the A35 between Bridport and Charmouth at Morcombelake, turn off to Whitchurch Canonicorum near Artwave. Follow this road for about 1 mile until a four cross road, here turn right and go past the Old Village School, now the Village Hall. Continue until you come to a turning on the left marked Bettiscombe and Marshwood, opposite the Berehayes Holiday Cottages. Take this left turn and Courthouse Farm is approximately 150 meters up this road on the left. Go into the yard and Cottage is on the left, parking in front of the house nearest the field. When usng Sat Nav put in Whitchurch Canonicorum via A35 otherwise you travel through lots of lanes.
