The cottage has electric heating with a radiator in each room and comprises:- Large open plan lounge/ kitchen area with three piece suite, dining table and chairs, dishwasher, washing machine, satellite T.V. with many English channels. Upstairs there is a landing area leading to one double and one twin bedroom and bathroom with bath and shower above. Shops: There is a bakery at the bottom of Rue du petit Fort and there are craft shops and restaurants on the way up Rue du petit Fort and on Rue du Jerzual. There are numerous food and other shops closer to the town; still less than 10 minutes walk from the cottage. There are supermarkets within a 10 minute drive.
Restaurants: In the immediate vicinity there are many; the nearest is Le Cottage which has a great atmosphere as the food is grilled over the wood burner. Next door to this is La Lumachelle which specialises in Pizzas.
On the corner of Rue du Petit Fort and Rue du Port there is a creperie and just opposite by the bridge is Restaurant Les Terrasses which has a beautiful terrace right next to the river. Then there are numerous other restaurants and bars on Rue du Port.
Travel - There are many ferry services to Brittany available including Portsmouth to St. Malo, Caen and Cherbourg, and Poole to Cherbourg with Brittany Ferries or P&O. Flights to Brittany are available from London to Rennes, and by Ryanair at a very attractive price, from London Stansted or East Midlands to Dinard. Arriving at the Brittany port of St. Malo or Dinard leaves an easy drive of about 30 minutes to Dinan. The public transport connections are good throughout Brittany and for cycling enthusiast, there are interesting routes from St. Malo to the cottage.
