Guebernez is a group of 3 of Breton stone gites in small hamlet in the heart of Brittany. It is the perfect base for Breton holidays - an opportunity to relax and enjoy real Breton life. The locals are friendly, the eating and drinking good value. Here at Guebernez we offer comfortable self catering accommodation, from as little as £62 per person per week even in August! We are only 45 minutes from the South Coast beaches. There are many interesting places to visit siutable for all ages or just relax and enjoy the wildlife on our doorstep.

La Grande is an authentic farm cottage with beams, traditional fireplace and country style furnishings. There are 3 bedrooms, 2 with double beds, a bunk room and a sofa bed for extra flexibility. A stair gate is fitted for extra security. The kitchen is fully equipped with large cooker, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker and plenty of crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils for 8, The dining area has a table and chairs for 8 and a high chair is available on request. The living area has plenty of seating and the sofa bed is situated here. Sattelllite television is also provided as is DVD and VHS players, plenty of videos, books, games for all ages and leaflets about local attractions etc. There is an upstairs bathroom with bath, handbasin and WC and a shower room downstairs also with hand basin and WC. The washing machine is situated here. Outside are extensive gardens, barbeques, loungers, tables and chairs, The property also has smoke alarm and fire extinguisher.

1km from the little village of Ploerdut, with its friendly shops, bars and restaurants. The stunning lake resorts of Priziac and Langoelan (10 mins) and Lac Guerledan (20 mins) offer beaches, safe swimming and water sports. The Beaches of South Morbihan are an easy 45 minute drive away and the quiet roads and wonderful scenery are perfect for cycling. For the energetic try horse riding, kayaking, beautiful woodland rambles, coarse and fly fishing, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, cycle hire and golf which are all available nearby. Sample the gastronomic delights of Brittany, with freshproduce, and a tempting selection of breads, cheeses and seafood are all available locally. There are excellent goodvalue eating places to be found. Don't forget to sample the traditional Breton Crepes and Cider!!........ For sightseeing you are spoiled for choice with ancient churches, prehistoric stones and medieval towns all nearby - even chic La Baule is within easy driving distance.

    Rental can be paid in euros. Please contact owner for euro prices
  • A refundable security deposit of £100 or 150 euros is required. This is payable with balance of holiday payment and will be refunded by cheque within 14 days of departure. May be paid in cash on arrival but will be refunded by cheque.
  • Linen can be provided for a charge of 12 euros for a double and 10 euros for a single. Wood is available for 7euros a load or we can provide a quarter or half cord at the going rate (we will buy back any unused wood).
