Close to Sarlat, a medieval city with many buildings dating between 1450 to 1500. We are central to most of the region's attractions.
Within easy reach of Les Eyzies, Beynac, Castelnaud, Roque Gageac, Domme, Montignac, Rocamadour, the Dordogne and Vezere rivers.
Local attractions include: canoeing, cycling, castles, prehistoric sites (caves, trogloditic dwellings, ancient cave paintings), arial tree parks, formal and informal gardens, a maze of maize, ballooning, tours of the Perigord Noir by light aeroplane or helicopter, children's farm, freshwater aquarium, village acivities from 'times past'. This is just a flavour of what is locally available.
Some of our guests have returned to this region time and time again, either with or without their children. Whether you want a quiet time, to join into the street entertainment, eat superbly, or just have quiet a coffee watching life pass by - all this is available to you close to Sarlat or in the Perigord Noir.
