It's "About Thyme" for a vacation in this luxurious "Home -away-from-home" located in the lovely private gated community of Waters Edge, adjacent to Rosemary Beach. Being only one house back from the beach, it's beautiful gulf views from each gulf front porch, overlooking the inviting private heated pool, are awsome. Just steps away is the private Waters Edge beach walk! About Thyme's convenient outdoor shower is perfectly located when returning from a day on the beautiful white sand gulf beach, where we furnish two complimentary beach chairs and an umbrella for our guests ( May- Oct.). About Thyme is filled with many special details including hardwood and ceramic tile flooring throughout.
The ground floor features two queen bedrooms, sharing a bath which has an access door to the convenient outdoor shower. Both queens are designed with french doors that open to the relaxing deck and tropical pool area. The bunk room , with two twins, features an en-suite bath, and is also located on this level. A spacious foyer accesses the charming private front entrance and one car garage. A wooden staircase with unique iron railing leads you to the second floor.
There you will find the exceptional great room which consists of the living, dining and gourmet kitchen areas. A large armoire houses a wide-screen plasma television. A DVD ,VCR ,a stereo system and also (high speed wireless internet) are all available. Two french doors open to the restful porch where you can enjoy spectacular ocean views and peaceful dining. A lovely half bath is conveniently located adjacent the great room. Also on the second level is a large, king-bedded master suite with a television and a large walk-in closet. The bath has his-and-her vanities and a jetted tub featuring a glass-block window allowing the warm Florida sunshine to enhance a relaxing bath.
The Grande master suite takes up the entire top level and consists of a spacious bedroom with a cozy sitting alcove and a private gulf-front porch,great for watching the dolphins or viewing the spectacular sunsets. It has a large, sunny bathroom with a jetted tub, a separate walk-in shower and his-and-her vanities. An extra large walk-in closet adjoins the bath.
"About Thyme" is ideally located adjacent to Rosemary Beach. A short walk or bike ride down the quaint, brick-paved streets will take you to shops, restaurants and spas. The Sugar Shack, an old fashioned candy store, is a favorite stop for our family! The central beach walkway for Water’s Edge is 25 yards away from "About Thyme," and there are no streets to cross.
Our family stayed in "About Thyme" before purchasing it, and we fell in love with the beautifully decorated rooms and gorgeous ocean views. It is everything you could want in a vacation home... and more. We would be happy to answer any questions that you might have.
