Ventnor is famous for its warm microclimate. The part sand, part shingle beach is great for sunbathing and swimming. Pubs, cafes and restaurants are dotted along the seafront as is the unique Isle of Wight shaped paddling pool. The Cascade leads up to the town, which is built on a series of zigzag terraces and steeped in history. There are friendly souvenir shops as well as delicatessens and convenience stores. Enjoy some peace and quiet in the tranquil Botanic Gardens, a 22-acre sub-tropical paradise. Heading west is one of the Island's hidden gems, Steephill Cove. All around Ventnor you'll find beautiful walks with dramatic viewpoints.

Additional information about rental rates

  • There is off road parking for two cars and there is also a small car park close to the premises along with unrestricted on road parking. There is a rear patio area which gets the late afternoon / evening sun and is perfect for barbecues. Cyclists may also lock their bikes in a covered area at the rear of the property (Max 4 bikes). Opposite the property is a green (children should be supervised whilst in this area as the green leads to paths which take you down the cliff towards Ventnor seafront).

    All electric, gas (including central heating) and hot water are provided at no extra cost. Linen and towels are included. There is a cot, highchair and two stair gates. Pets are not permitted and the owners have requested that visitors do not smoke in the property.

    Number of people that can be accommodated: 11 (plus cot)

    Let Sunday to Sunday. Occupation from 3pm, vacation by 10am. Tourist Board Grading: 4 Stars
