Lacombe is set in seven acres of private land that borders the River Lot

Lacombe is a delightful restored farmhouse with private access to the River Lot. It is situated in the south west of France in the beautiful Lot-et-Garonne region 1km outside of the market village of Ste Livrade sur Lot.

Lacombe is set in seven acres of land with 180 metres of riverbank on the River Lot. You can watch the rowers and canoeists go by or even take our canoe out yourself if you are feeling energetic. The river also boasts huge Carp and Catfish making Lacombe ideal for keen fishermen and their families. Enjoy sundowners on your private river pontoon or by your private swimming pool. Private fishing on your own pontoon. Watersports from your own property. Golf course 15 minutes away.

Alternatively you can laze by the private pool topping up your tan, catch up on your reading or simply recharge your batteries!

There is plenty to see and do in the surrounding areas. For example, you can visit the village market in Ste Livrade every Friday morning, where the local farmers sell their fruit and vegetables, wines, cheeses, flowers and loads of other homemade goodies!

Enjoy a relaxing few days visiting the pretty bastides towns such as Montflanquin, Villereal, Pujols and Penne D'Agenais or sample the local wines which include Buzet, Duras, Cahors and Bordeaux, all within an hour's drive of Lacombe.

  • Change overs occur on Saturdays in the mid and high season. Arrivals after 4pm and departures by 10am.
    In the low season, changeover dates can be arranged by request to suit your needs.

    Please note that preference will be given to a two week booking during the high season (16 July - 03 Sept).

    On arrival you will be met by our local manageress who will hand over the keys, give you a brief tour of the property and answer any questions. She will also leave her phone number with you to resolve any problems you may encounter.

    All house bedlinen and towels (please bring your own pool towels) are provided.

The house has four large double sized bedrooms with both double and twin beds available. Three bedrooms are located on the upper floor, one of which is an ensuite with its own private entrance. There is also a bathroom with bath, shower and WC available. On the lower floor is the fourth twin bedroom, as well as a separate shower room with WC. The kitchen is fitted to a high standard with all mod cons such as cooker, hob, American fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, w/machine and has a large dining table that seats eight comfortably. The lounge leads off from the kitchen and has comfortable sofas to relax on, with TV, video and DVD player, which you can also play CDs on.

Double doors lead onto the rear shaded terrace with barbecue facilities and seating for eight, ideal for those hot summer afternoons! A second terrace is situated on the south side of the house which has sunshine all day and leads to the enclosed private pool area with sun loungers.

Great family/fishing holiday!

The only thing wrong with our stay was that it wasn't long enough!
All the fishing gear supplied was good & the fact that the rest of the family didn't complain at how much time I spent at the river proves the house & the pool etc was everything we had hoped for.
Once again thanks for arranging the fishing gear, directions, etc & a holiday where nobody complained about anything. Thank you from the Thomas family.

Great Location!

We had a super holiday thankyou- what a lovely property you have. The children loved the pool and Grandma enjoyed reading on your veranda. Our teenage boys made several trips on Le Lot with Mum and Dad in the canoe! The recommended restaurants were a real hit. We tried the Local Farm House, La Source and The Italian at Vujols all very different and thoroughly enjoyed. Our several outings were all a success, including: Monflanquin, Monpazier, Chateux Bazillac and the beautiful lily garden at Temple Sur Lot. What a great location for a holiday!

Lovely house and surrounding area

Just a short note to say how much we enjoyed our holiday in your house. It was ideal for our needs and was one of the best equipped houses we have stayed in. The pool and table tennis were a huge hit with everyone. We also loved the area and thought that St Livrade itself was a lovely little place with lots going on that we could enjoy.
Once again we loved the house and the area and would recommend it to others.

Great Holiday!

At your house we had a great time in the pool and visiting various different places. Mark enjoyed the fishing in an evening. He met Rob on the Thursday and Friday. They fished together which was enjoyable. Mark caught a great Carp - 32lbs - it was his personal best!!
