A beautiful stone built detached lodge located behind the walled entrance gates to the Talhenbont Hall Estate and surrounded by woodlands and countryside. The immaculate cottage is private and has been thoughtfully renovated to the highest standard to provide one of the finest self catering retreats in Wales. There are 4 bedrooms: 2 x double (1 ground floor), 1 x twin (ground floor), 1 x family room with twins and full size bunk beds. Modern ground floor bathroom with bath, WC, basin and bidet. Additional shower room with washbasin and WC. Delightful and extremely well equipped fitted kitchen. Spacious split level sitting room with dining area raised on polished slate floor. About the area: Criccieth 2 miles; Pwllheli 6 miles. Five minutes' drive away there are lots of attractions, castles, beaches, golf courses and the Snowdonia National Park. The nearby restaurants and inns provide a wide range of succulent dishes. Apart from the superb accommodation, the Talhenbont Estate has a lot more to offer to visitors. There are woodland walks along a 1.5 mile stretch of river that runs over a series of waterfalls in a ravine, with areas for children to play or paddle. The river is a designated habitat by otters and offers salmon and sea trout fishing. Guests have the use of an all weather tennis court and outdoor chess for adults. There are also lots of pet animals which enjoy being petted and fed. A paradise for children is the adventure playground, 'Fort Good'. The mild climate makes Talhenbont a perfect retreat for year round holidays. Amenities: Electric panel radiators throughout and electric log effect fire. Electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, colour TV, etc. Electricity inc. in rent 1st June to 1st September and charged at cost for other months. Bed linen inc. in rent. Cot and highchair by request. Private garden, patio and garden furniture, BBQ. Well behaved pet welcome. Fishing, tennis and woodland walks all inc. in rent. Ample parking. Shop and pub 2 miles
