A delightful apartment set out on two floors is situated at the back of the property and has the shared use of a west facing terrace/balcony and the benefit of private off street parking. There are 2 bedrooms: 2 x double (both on upper floor, one of the rooms is small). A shower room with separate shower, basin and WC. Delightful living room with kitchen, dining and sitting area, wooden floor and a marble fireplace with pebble flame-effect electric fire. There is also a single sofabed in the sitting room. The apartment is accessed from a first floor medieval 'Row' in Chester's premier shopping street, Watergate Street, famous for its designer clothes and antique shops. All of the sights of the City are on the doorstep with plenty of good restaurants, pubs and cafe's all within a 5 minute walk. Even the famous racecourse is just 5 minutes walk away. The apartment is cosy and comfortable and makes the perfect base for a City break in the heart of Chester. About the area: Chester is rightly been described as 'the jewel of the North-West of England'. The most fascinating aspect of this city is that within a small area there is evidence of every period of history - these include the old walls and amphitheatre of Roman times, medieval churches, Elizabethan timber-framed town houses, Georgian terraces and Victorian restorations to 21st century architecture. The City has plenty to offer, including excellent shopping, in the famous 'Rows', and pritty walks within the city boundaries - around the old Roman Walls, along The Groves beside the River Dee or through the picturesque Grosvenor Park. Further away, the beautiful Welsh mountains and coastline, plus the market towns and villages of Cheshire, are all within easy touring distance, whilst the nearby Wirral Peninsula has plenty of splendid courses to tempt the golfing enthusiast.
