A quaint stone built cottage hidden away in a peaceful courtyard position. Tastefully restored to offer accommodation of a high standard. The cottage is all ground floor. There is one double bedroom with ensuite shower room with shower, washbasin & WC. Cosy beamed living room with sitting, kitchen and dining area and electric fire. Only 5 minutes walk from the centre of Betws-y-Coed offering shops, pubs and restaurants. Royal Oak Cottage provides a wonderful holiday retreat. The owners live in the nearby farmhouse and personally welcome visitors. A superb base for exploring Snowdonia at any time of year! About the area: Llanrwst 5 miles; Blaenau Ffestiniog 11 miles away. Betws-y-Coed is North Wales' most renowned inland resort. Surrounded by woodland and stunning mountain country, this is a true haven for walkers. At Betws-y-Coed the River Conwy meets three tributaries flowing from the west, and the magnificant area is made even better by the cascading waterfalls, river pools and very old bridges. Most famous of all is the magnificent Swallow Falls, where the Llugwy River hurls itself into a spectacular chasm. The village offers shops, pubs and places to eat. It is also home to The Snowdonia National Park Visitor Centre. Amenities: Electric heating from electric radiators and electric fire in sitting room. Electric cooker, microwave, fridge, washing machine, colour TV, DVD/video etc. All fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Ample off road parking.
