A fantastic single storey wing of the owner's own property, set on the side of Newlands Valley in between Braithwaite and Buttermere. It has been lovingly renovated to high standards. There are three bedrooms: 2 x double, 1 x twin. Bathroom with bath, basin and WC. Shower room with shower, WC and basin. Modern well equipped kitchen with dining area and access to balcony. Spacious sitting room with feature fireplace and living flame gas fire. The lovely balcony is perfect to relax and take in the gorgeous views of the surrounding countryside. Walkers are spoilt for choice, with Catbells on one side, and Skiddaw on the other, along with numerous walks right from the doorstep such as on Maiden Moor, Dale Head, Grisdale Pike and Causey Pike. This is a wonderful location for a family holiday with its wonderful position, mature gardens, and easy access to Keswick and the Lakes. About the area: Keswick 3 miles. Braithwaite lies in between the stunning northern lakes of Derwentwater and Bassenthwaite. Still retaining plenty of its traditional appeal, the Coledale Beck runs through the village with whitewashed Lakeland cottages, two shops and two real ale Inns brimming with character! Bassenthwaite Lake is one of the most picturesque places in all of England. There really is something for everyone, from a gentle countryside ramble to a challenging hike up Skiddaw. Mirehouse - a grand house and gardens with an open-air theatre is well worth a visit, along with Trotters Farm and Dodd Wood. Derwentwater and Keswick with their wide ranges of attractions are also within easy reach.
