This is a delightful 17th Century detached barn conversion tucked away on a three acre rural setting in the Conwy Valley. A beautiful property boasting many features such as exposed beams, offers cosy and comfortable accommodation along with a mezzanine bedroom and the added attraction of a pretty patio area and garden. There is one bedroom: 1 x mezzanine double. Ground floor bathroom with double-ended bath with hand held shower, WC and basin. Fitted kitchen. Cosy sitting room with dining area and woodburner. The whole area is an Eden for climbers, walkers, cyclists and horse riders alike,with the Snowdonia National Park being within easy riding distance. Summer stabling is available. An ideal location for a relaxing break any time of the year, Conwy is a true medieval gem with its magnificent castle, splendid town walks, picturesque harbour and link golf course. About the area: Conwy, a World Heritage Site, is undoubtedly world famous for its historical and architectural heritage including Conwy Castle designed by Master James of St George. Built for King Edward I between 1283 1287, it remains one of the most brilliant achievements of medieval military architecture. With its distinctive, elongated shape, its two barbicans, eight massive towers and great bow-shaped hall, it was possibly determined by the narrow rocky outcrop on which the castle stands. At the heart of the town lies a hive of bustling activity with its ancient festivals and fairs, musical recitals, galleries and historical attractions. There is also an array of specialist shops, restaurants and hotels. The town celebrates its past by keeping many of itsevents and fairs which include the Honey fair, Seed fair and Gwledd Conwy Feast in October in its annual festivals. Conwy is a perfect base for exploring the dramatic Snowdonia National Park or enjoying the wonderful scenery on your doorstep.
