This pretty detached wooden chalet is placed in an acre of wild garden and woods, where there is an abundance of wildlife including badgers, squirrels and foxes. The chalet is perfect for a romantic break due to its light, airy and its comfortable and stylish open-plan accommodation, creating a cosy atmosphere. Open plan living/sleeping/dining and kitchen area with double bed (can be made into twin beds by arrangement). Shower room with shower, WC and basin. There is also electric underfloor heating. Take advantage of the lawned area with garden furniture, or take a stroll beside the owner's pretty stream next to their magnificent 16th Century black and white country house. This is a true paradise for walking, cycling, fishing birdwatching, clay pigeon shooting and watersports. Enjoy trips to the Celtica Museum, Hafren Forest, Lake Vyrnwy or the seaside village of Aberdovey - then return to this delightful cottage in its lovely setting. About the area: Llanidloes 4.5 miles; Trefeglwys 1 mile. An attractive village with a shop and pub, surrounded by beautiful countryside - ideal for walking, cycling, bird watching, fishing, kite feeding and clay pigeon shooting. Only 3 miles away is the historic town of Llanidloes, located on the banks of River Severn. It has a variety of architecture including timber-framed black and white houses, with the impressive old market hall being the finest example. There is also a wide variety of amenities in the town, such as antique shops, pubs, restaurants and scenic riverside walks. The sought after beauty spots of Llyn Clywedog with its 236ft dam and Hafren Forest offering fabulous scenery and water sports, are also both close by. Amenities: Full electric underfloor heating.
