Lovely detached log cabin set on a high ridge in the South Lakeland Leisure Village with fantastic views across the lake. Whilst the more energetic are spoiled for choice, with the onsite leisure facilities such as an indoor swimming pool, gym and steam room. Enjoy spoiling yourself in the beauty therapy suites, or relax in the bar and treat yourself to a meal in one of the restaurants. This is an ideal base for touring with Kirkby Lonsdale, lively Kendal and the Lake District National Park all just a short drive away. About the area: Carnforth 2 miles; Kendal 15 miles;Windermere 20 miles. The South Lakeland Leisure Village is located a couple of miles from Carnforth on the border of the Southern Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales. This magnificent area combines lovely countryside and a coast with fascinating history dating back to the Doomsday Book. The 'Village' was built in a former quarry, and offers top quality accommodation in the form of Scandinavian Log Cabins, built on ten acres around a beautiful large lake. The main club house, a former 17th Century farmhouse, provides quality leisure facilities such as an indoor swimming pool, steam room and gym, to name just a few. Guests are well catered for with a Tapas bar, Italian restaurant and bar on-site. This truly is an excellent location, within easy driving distance of superb villages, coastal resorts and the National Parks of the Lakes and the Dales.
