Utility room. Sitting room with cast iron gas stove. The patio area is ideal for relaxing, dining al fresco and enjoying the spectacular view. The cottage is in a fantastic hillside location on the outskirts of the marina village of Y Felinheli, only 5 miles from Caernarfon. Overlooking the stunning Menai Straits and Isle of Anglesey beyond. This wonderful location provides stunning sandy beaches, waterfalls and cascading rivers. Discover famous castles, mountain railways, the Snowdonia National Park, beautiful Lleyn Peninsula and the Isle of Anglesey, all nearby. About the area: Llanberis 6 miles. Caernarfon 5 miles. Bangor 3 miles. Felinheli, previously known as Port Dinorwic, is located on the beautiful Menai Straits in-between the historic town of Caernarfon and the Cathederal city of Bangor. It is home to a small, established yachting marina with a rather interesting lock (allowing boats to enter or leave before cruising down the Straits to the open sea). The village also provides a variety of pubs, restaurants, shops and an hotel, as well as an Award Winning 5 Star restaurant just 2 miles away. Visitors to this perfect region are spoilt for choice, there is the stunning Snowdonia, the beautiful Lleyn Peninsula, or the sandy beaches of the Isle of Anglesey all nearby.
